...until First Contact. Well technically, that's when the warp barrier is supposed to be broken; FC happens later that night.
In related news: watched The Next Generation movie First Contact on Sunday. Really, really REALLY good. Data is now my favorite character. Why you may ask? Because he is fully equipped, well versed in a number of positions and NOT A VIRGIN!!! Data, the android, has done the hanky-panky. And Trois wasn't bad either. In the show I really disliked her, but she was really good in this movie.Next on the movie agenda: TNG Insurrection!
The Borg weird me out (they're half-organic, half-machine, and they have no individuality and are part of a hive mind called The Collective. And once you're Assimilated, there's no going back). I should have been a Borg for Halloween. Super mega awesome creepy.
BTW FYI, the date for FC is April 5, 2063. On that day I'm going to host a First Contact party. Were going to have a marathon of Star Trek, Original Series to Enterprise, plus all the movies. Everyone will be strongly encouraged to show up in their Trekky-est attire. Save the date!
In other Star Trek news:
I dont have a problem. STFU GTFO.

. . . Also, most of us will be in our early seventies when you host your party, which will doubtlessly make the obsession more fun because it will involve dentures, canes, and the robots that take care of us.
